Films is an entertainment company started by Dylan Hintz and Sam Anderson- two wild and crazy guys from Gaithersburg, Maryland. Soon they were joined by Stuart DeMattia, Robert Novich, and Robert Ramirez. Dylan is the insanity behind the group, and does most of the directing and technical work, but without his own personal “Bruce Cambpell” in Sam Anderson, and an amazing assortment of character actors in the rest of his stars, the company might not have made it as far! STRIKE A POSE!!! Films focuses on amateur film- AKA zero budget, improvised (or bare-bone) scripted films, that require on-the-spot creativity. Eventually, the company hopes to work with scripts and larger groups of actors and more professionals, but for right now it’s main goals are to inspire people to do what they can with what they got! With this in mind, the company has made over 20 shorts, a few music videos, has filmed conventions such as Otakon, and has created one major Indie short, Curse of Bodangofish, filmed at the scenic Outer Banks, North Carolina. Dylan's films have won awards through Salisbury University, as well as hit it big with Gametrailers.com. The company has also created wildly popular public figure "MAX ACTION", whom you can also find on Facebook! Dylan is also the founder of the Future Film Makers Club at Salisbury University, and hopes to bring his dreams of epic scope, deep characterization, and edgy style to his films with each new experiment. To that degree, he encourages every film maker out there looking for a dream to stand up, defy logic and reason and STRIKE A POSE!!!

Mission: To bring high-quality, low budget entertainment to the masses via festivals and internet. To unite actors, film makers, producers, talent, crew and everyone and anyone who wants to be involved in the movies. To show that it doesn't require huge budgets or a Hollywood set to make great art and great entertainment!

How Accurate Is Quentin Tarantino's Portrayal of Slavery in Django Unchained?

Great article on Django Unchained - though it's accuracy about inaccuracy to me screams up for debate. http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/culture/2013/01/how-accurate-is-quentin-tarantinos-portrayal-of-slavery-in-django-unchained.html#commentAnchor_nyr_2000000002082835

The primary sin of “Django Unchained” is not the desire to create an alternative history. It’s in the idea that an enslaved black man willing to kill in order to protect those he loves could constitute one.

Saw Cloud Atlas this weekend. Breath taking film. Slow build up, but then the end comes crashing at you like a tidal wave of all sorts of emotions, and pulls each one off successfully.

"Any action formula can be brought to life with enough imagination and energy." - Damn Straight, @rogerebert, http://rogerebert.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20120822/REVIEWS/120829996

"Premium Rush" is a breakneck chase movie about the daredevils who work as Manhattan bicycle messengers. With a map of the city imprinted in their brains, they hurtle down sidewalks, run red lights, go against traffic, jump obstacles and insist on using bikes without brakes. Whatever they're paid, i...

Dolph Lundgren's tell-all from Expendables 2! http://news.moviefone.com/2012/08/13/expendables-2-dolph-lundgren-interview_n_1772147.html

It's been almost 30 years since Dolph Lundgren's Ivan Drago uttered his famous "I must break you" line in "Rocky IV."
