With the move to our new location, we have surplus desks, file cabinets and miscellaneous furniture that we are offering free for the taking. Stop by the old Galena Gazette at 515 S. Main Street on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 8-10 a.m. to pick up items that interest you.

Calling all Stockton Blackhawk fans! We are publishing not one, but TWO keepsake pullout special sections to celebrate the Stockton Volleyball team on their 2nd in State finish as well as the Stockton Football team as they enter into the state championship competition this week!
Organizations as well as player family/friends can be a part of these special sections by placing an ad to show your Blackhawk support and pride!

Have you heard the news?
The Galena Gazette office is moving!
Staff will begin moving tomorrow, but please be patient with us during the process as we will need to spend some time going back and forth in the upcoming weeks.
If you pickup your paper from our office, you'll need to come to the new location beginning next week.

Calling all sports fans and community supporters! 🏀🤼‍♂️🏆🎷

Reserve your spot in the upcoming GHS Pirate Nation Winter Sports Programs and show your school spirit while helping your community. 10% of all ad sales is donated directly back to the school and each participant receives a free kickoff ad in the 11/25 edition of The Gazette on our winter sports preview pages.

Shuttles begin at 3:30 PM from Walmart

Band kicks off at 5:00 PM in Grant Park

Parade starts at 6:30 PM sharp!

See you downtown for one of Galena’s biggest nights!
