Because It Matters. That’s why we do things like this… Every single day we are growing!

These young women will never know unless we continue to share our accounts of that day.
Today, they each had to write what their “worst day of their life” was. Then we watched a 20 minute documentary about 9/11. As a team. Quiet. After, I said “This day, 9/11…was hundreds of thousands of people’s “worst day ever”. Then we headed to the gym. Stretched as a team. Quiet. Then made two teams. Each team had to then work together to carry the battle rope and climb the steps. Leave no one behind. Ever. They were tired. They didn’t quit. They worked together. They talked eachother through it. They pushed one another. Once they accomplished the 110 stories as a team, they met back in the G. Tired but ALIVE.
Never forget those who didn’t make it back.
