We are all living our best lives, giving thousands of kisses (or hugs and smiles), and then there comes a point when many people need a way to let others know they are hurting.

Joe Dubin: You're almost there

Recently, I wrote a story about your one resolution you should use in the new year. The theme was that whatever you want to do in 2023, go all in. Yes, simply go all in. Twelve months can move fast, and if you go all in, it will move even faster.

I’ve heard it said that families were happier “in the old days.” However, newspapers prove that not every household was blissful. They also remind us that, when it comes to legal status, women have come a long way.

Like all Sumner countians I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of Capt. Shane Clifford from Covid. His family are in our prayers. I was surprised and disappointed that nowhere in your article did you mention his vaccination status. This omission in inexcusable for public health reasons. If he was vaccinated and boosted the public needs to know as a reminder of how dangerous the virus is. If he was unvaccinated those he came in contact on the job--patients and co-workers--need to be made aware of their possible exposure. I sincerely hope you will remedy this omission. It is your responsibility as journalists.
Ask Anthony Holt, where did our funds from the American Rescue Plan go? In Davidson County, the Library spent the funds to provide WI-FI hotspots. Our kids never got the Wi-Fi or laptops the American Rescue Plan paid for.

I am confused? Do you live in Davidson county or Sumner?

Sherri Gammon Ferguson honestly I don't think it matters if he has a point. Anthony Holt also has been one the worst things that happen to Sumner county. Why do you think he's not running this year? He's made his money from this county and now everyone knows what he's been up to so he won't have a chance in the next election.

Whitney Kenney amen to that. Holt is a snake in the grass that nobody realized till it was too late. And his little sidekick Chris Taylor who's running for mayor this time is just as bad or worse.

400 dollars and Willaim Lambert and Ryan Williams got away with 300,000. What about Sumner County spending the money for the laptops and wi=fi that congress provided for. Ask Farrell Haile, William Lambert, Johnny Garret and Paul Rose, what have they done about that? Prosecute them and impeach to county mayor. for misuse of funds.

when you review the footage and hear the date and the personnel who testified, it is proof that the bonding companies are illegal, and he documents will support this:

ASK ANTHONY HOLT, WHY IS IT NOT A PERSON OF COLOR ON THE COUNTY COMMISSION. ARE THEIR PEOPLE OF COLOR IN SUMNER COUNTY, THEN WHY DO THEY NOT HAVE A VOT HAVE A VOICE IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT. SUMNER COUNTY IS RACIST AND CORRUPT. THIS WILL BE ADDRESSED; IT MUST NOT BE ANY BLACK PEOPLE IN ANY DISTRICT IN RACIST SUMNER COUNTY.
What a wonderful surprise for The Veranda to be on the front page of The Gallatin News. What a way to start our 10th year of serving the families of Gallatin and their loved ones living with dementia. It's truly an honor to help those in Sumner County.
