🔹 “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies”
This is a stunning image. A “prepared table” is a symbol of hospitality, abundance, and favor. But what makes this moment so radical is where and when this table is set—not in safety, but in the presence of enemies.
God is not waiting until the battle is over to bless us. He sets the table right in the middle of the struggle. He shows that His peace and provision aren’t dependent on our circumstances. Instead of removing the enemy, God invites us to sit down and eat—to rest, to receive, and to be honored—even while opposition surrounds us.
