Working on a digital design lesson for a school in Texas using Adobe Illustrator. This is a project collaborating with others from around the world. I made a flyer that had a picture of a burger and a reference to the “tasty patties”.

The gentleman from India was confused by the reference of “patties”. He asked if that was a term used by the US for burgers. I explained it was and one of my favorite burger places was called Fat Patty’s. 🍔

The Athens Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to host a day full of networking, learning, and fun at the 8th Annual Athens Area Women’s+ Summit on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Stuart’s Opera House.

And this morning‘s class at Field of Hope Community Campus, there was a new student with a background in graphic design and once I learned a little bit more about her interest and experience (and she whizzed through the computer lesson) I showed her Webflow University as a way to get started with web development.

You could see that she was really excited by the opportunity to learn something new and upskill in an area she has interest in.

I’ve said it once and I will say it again many times over

Fun day talking with juniors and seniors at Delaware Area Career Center talking about how they can begin their careers in cloud ☁️ with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

They had the opportunity to use AWS Educate to explore AWS DeepRacer and reinforcement learning.
