Update on Oak Ridge fire: forest road closures within the boundary of fire are now lifted.

July 14, 2025 Announcement: Public Roads Now Open Around Fire Perimeter.

Effective Immediately All roads around the fire perimeter, including Pine Springs Road (Navajo Route 9010 or Summit Road), are now open to the public.

Important Reminder: Please exercise caution while traveling through the area, as hazardous conditions still exist from - fire weakened trees, stump holes and unstable terrain affected by fire.

BIA Fire Personnel and the Navajo Police Department will continue to monitor the area for fire activity and public safety.
