This is a space where we review poetry, uplift the voices of student poets, and make poetry content accessible for all. We invite emerging writers into the world of poetry by exploring all the joys of language, form, and community.

Sunset Press is excited to announce SUNSET SUMMER SESSION: a virtual creative writing program designed, directed, and taught by our staff for high school students everywhere! Our applications are now open and will be until July 5th.

During this five-week program, students will explore their voices across all genres in bi-weekly workshops, read from a diverse contemporary curriculum, attend panels by published guest writers, broaden their literary network and compile their generated work into a print anthology that will also be showcased on our website. Sunset Summer Session is COMPLETELY FREE. Instead of charging tuition, we encourage applicants and those who believe in our mission to donate what they can to Sunset’s Fund which is now live at www.sunsetpress.org/donate
