Last night, the Garberville Rotary Club gathered for our annual debunking ceremony — a cherished tradition where we celebrate leadership transitions and the spirit of service.

This year’s event was luau-themed and full of aloha spirit! We bid a heartfelt farewell to our outgoing president, Shawn, and expressed our gratitude for his incredible energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to community projects throughout the year. Under Shawn’s leadership, the club made a meaningful impact, and we are truly thankful for his service.

We also gave a warm welcome to our incoming president, Darrin, who is ready to take the helm and guide us into another exciting year of community service, connection, and collaboration.

A special thank-you goes out to Peter C and his team for preparing a fabulous Hawaiian-inspired meal that made the evening even more memorable.

Here’s to new beginnings and continuing the great work of Rotary in Southern Humboldt!

🎉 It’s up! The new South Fork High Marquee is officially shining bright! 💡

The Garberville Rotary Club was proud to play a part in making this project happen—pitching in alongside local businesses, generous individuals, and volunteers who all came together to support our school and students.

It takes a community and this one really delivered.

Here’s to more great things ahead for South Fork High and the Garberville Rotary Club as we continue serving our community! 💙

⛳☀️Wow! What a day in Benbow for the first annual Garberville Rotary Club Golf Tournament!

The golf tournament started out a very blustery, busy, beautiful day at the Benbow course.
Golfers were on the course at 6:30 a.m. testing their skills before the tournament begin.⛳
Almost 80 golfers participated in the first annual Garberville Rotary Club golf tournament.
Rotarians from the Ferndale club, Fortuna Club and Willits Club made their way to Benbow to show their support.
Residents from all over the county and beyond shared in the fun.
Four local teens from South Fork High School walked the course and shared the tournament experience.

Four teams tied for first place but Blue Star Gas broke the tie and took home the winnings!

Big thanks to Benbow Historic Inn and Benbow KOA Holiday for allowing this fundraiser for the Garberville Club !

At our last meeting, the Garberville Rotary Club proudly welcomed three new members! 🎉 Shawn and Garth had the honor of introducing Cash Garlinghouse, Bob Downing, and David Morris, and we’re thrilled to have them join us.
