Join us for the Lucky Squirrel Craft & Vendor Event in Downtown Garden City this Saturday, July 20th!

Garden City, MI - The Lucky Squirrel is one of the largest outdoor flea markets & craft & vendor events in the Metro Detroit area, with a mixed bag of up to 150 different vendors. Discover unique crafts, vintage items, handmade goods, and delicious food. There is truly something for everyone!

Vendors will be selling:
- Custom-made jewelry
- Pallet board creations
- Homemade bath & candle products
- Pet products
- Vintage wares
- Seasonal jams, honey, baked goods
- Various kinds of art and crafts
- Bric-a-brac items like books, toys, tools
- Outdoor yard art and garage sale finds
Food is available for purchase, so come hungry!

Garden City Community Theatre Brings "Mamma Mia!" to Life This Summer

Garden City, MI - Garden City residents are in for a treat as the Garden City Community Theatre prepares to bring the beloved musical "Mamma Mia!" to the stage at O'Leary Auditorium this summer. Mark your calendars for a spectacular performance from August 23-25, showcasing the incredible talent of our local community members.

"Mamma Mia!" is a feel-good musical that has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Set on a picturesque Greek island, the story follows Sophie, a young bride-to-be, as she embarks on a quest to discover the identity of her father. Through a series of delightful and sometimes chaotic events, Sophie invites three men from her mother's past to her wedding, hoping to unveil the truth. The musical features the timeless hits of ABBA, including "Dancing Queen," "Take a Chance on Me," and, of course, "Mamma Mia!"

This production is entirely driven by the passion and dedication of Garden City community members, from the cast and crew to the directors and designers. Their hard work and enthusiasm promise to deliver a memorable and entertaining experience for all who attend.

Garden City, MI - Get ready for an evening of music, food, and fun as the Garden City Business Alliance hosts "Music in the Park" tonight! This highly anticipated event promises to be a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a wonderful summer evening.

Carnival Visits Garden City provided by Community Care Pharmacy

Garden City, MI - The carnival comes to town tonight! Get ready for a weekend of fun and excitement! From July 18-21, the carnival will be held at the corner of Ford Rd and Middlebelt, offering a variety of games, rides for both children and adults, food, and entertainment.

Event Schedule:
Thursday, July 18: 4pm - 11pm
Friday, July 19: 4pm - 11pm
Saturday, July 20: 12pm - 11pm
Sunday, July 21: 12pm - 11pm

Special Sensory-Friendly Hours:
On Friday, July 19, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the carnival will feature minimized sounds, music, and lighting on the midway. Assistance will also be available for attendees with limited or no mobility, and service animals are welcome.
