Felt it was probably better to post up here than answering a bunch of DMs. Turns out I sliced both flexor tendons in my finger. Didn’t even notice it when the ER was patching it up. But I waited almost a week to see if conditions would improve and while I have no more pain I’m unable to bend the finger down. I go in for surgery Monday and will probably be out of commission for a week before my therapy starts. is of course still on for a Sunday and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there. Hoping that by the time of our wedding I’ll start gaining more mobility with it prior to flying out. And I for sure hope she’s almost 100 percent by the time Battlefield 2042 launches 😅 — I appreciate all the messages but let this be a reminder don’t do stupid s**t around your hands and take things for granted.

That was fast! Our truck arrived today at its second home with — unfortunately It’ll still be a while before we’re there to pick her up. I know our truck is in awesome hands getting some updates in the coming weeks 🤘 — we also may have dialed in exactly where we are going on our honeymoon. Currently the move is to head to Oregon then to Glacier National Park then to the Badlands. We seriously can’t wait.

Many weekend hours by myself wiring, doing things right, weather proofing, finding issues from old installs. I’m thrilled at the outcome. 6 Baja Design Squadrons up front, 47 inch LED bar, MORIMOTO XB, and some various scene lights for camp. I tried my hardest to be as methodical and thought out as possible rather than just throwing lights everywhere based on our old trips and personal experience from where we go. I was a freshmen in college heading to my English Lit. class. Not seeing any of the images since we couldnt really see media like this until we got in front of a TV, I was in utter shock of what I was watching at home. Everyone was calling each other, concerned, worried and scared of what was going to happen next in our country. But 9/12 we were the most patriotic and United as we’ve ever been. Many HAVE forgotten and it’s something I’ve noticed in the 20 years of remembering each year. Many adults now were just kids unable to grasp what was happening. Political or not I just hope that what is going on now doesn’t lead to something terrible again.

Some updates on prepping the truck for our big trip in October. I had mounted the 2Ton to the Prinsu rack but I wasn’t comfortable having it up there and putting that much weight so high. Luckily the comes in clutch again. With the fuel tank being on the drivers side and myself I’ve been putting the heavier items like the and water containers in the passenger side. I managed to bolt the Pro Eagle mount to the rack and it fits perfectly and the weight is counterbalanced with the Pro Eagle front tires resting on the bed arch. Thus putting the weight over the axle and lower on the truck. I couldn’t be more happy how well everything fits. It’s also a lot safer for me to remove and reinstall the Jack into the mount.
