Former US Army Captain Brittany Ramos DeBarros has been arrested, threatened with a court martial, and discharged—ending her military career—for speaking out against U.S. actions affecting immigrants.
Concerned that active personnel may be ordered to commit unlawful acts, DeBarros now leads About Face Veterans , a nonprofit that helps service members understand the legal and moral implications of following illegal orders. She is currently focused on Posse Comitatus—the law that prohibits the U.S. military from being used against people within the United States. https://aboutfaceveterans.org/
