Meet our 2024 Grand Marshal

Sargeant Thomas Wayne Prater - retired

Tom was drafted while in high school and became a Marine in 1966. He served in Vietnam and was shot in an ambush while attempting to recover wounded soldiers.

Join us for the War Memorial Ceremony on May 26th at 3 pm at Hahn Park and meet Sargeant Prater - Purple Heart recipient.

Here's how it works:

By doing something you are already doing – SHOPPING - you can WIN. Our Springtime Gift Basket is valued at over $200 and includes a delightful assortment of amazing gifts that capture the essence of the season. Visit any of our Reedsport businesses and turn in your receipt of purchases of $10 or more to the City of Reedsport to be entered into our free drawing.

By participating, you're not only entering for a chance to win an incredible prize. You are supporting the heartbeat of our community – our local businesses.

Whether you've enjoyed a delicious meal at a local restaurant, picked up a unique gift from one of our community’s shops, or indulged in a spa day at a local salon, every receipt brings you closer to winning the ultimate springtime treat.

Here is how to enter:

Visit Reedsport businesses between April 8th and June 2nd.
Reedsport residents and visitors are eligible to win.
Write your name and phone number on receipts of $10 or more
Take a photo of your receipt
Submit receipts in one of three ways:
1) Text to 541-530-9672
2) Email to [email protected]
3) Drop off at Reedsport City Hall, 541 Wi******er Avenue
