I love you, Dad…
But those words don’t reach you anymore.

I wish I could go back —
to the days when you were still here,
when writing “I ❤️ YOU DAD :)” on a board
was just a playful thing I did,
not a message sent to the sky.

Now, I write to the silence.
I speak to memories.
And I sit in the quiet,
hoping somehow you’ll hear me.

I miss your voice.
I miss your laugh.
I miss the safety of knowing
you were just a call away.

You were more than just “Dad.”
You were my protector.
My calm.
My everything.

And now…
all I have is this aching love,
with nowhere to go.

Dear Veteran,
We see you.
We remember you.
We honor the courage it took to stand where freedom was only a hope.
You gave your time, your strength, your youth — and for many, even your tomorrow — so that the rest of us could live in peace today.
Your sacrifices built the safety we wake up to, the liberty we often take for granted.
Today isn’t just about remembering your service.
It’s about recognizing every silent battle you still fight,
every memory you carry,
every moment of bravery that shaped our nation’s story.
We honor you — not just on Veterans Day,
but every single day your sacrifices remind us what freedom truly costs. 🇺🇸

Dear Guardians of Tomorrow,
I carry your stories like folded letters—soft at the edges, brave at the center. Today, on Veterans Day, I finally understand what it means when we say freedom isn’t free. It looks like an empty chair at a crowded table, a flag folded where a uniform once hung, a child who learned a parent’s voice through stories instead of bedtime hugs.
To those who came home with invisible scars and to the families who learned to hold the quiet—please know I see you. You traded your tomorrows so ours could arrive with the sunrise. I bow my head for the soldiers, the mothers, the fathers, the spouses, and the children left waiting. Your pain bought our peace. I won’t forget. 🕊️
