, I'll be here tomorrow from 10-12pm, recording your storm stories. Let's make sure the whole world knows the details of what's happening in our Region because it is just so WRONG. Where is FEMA? Why do AMERICANS have to put grocery bags over their toilets to use them, not 30 miles from Chicago? It's so wrong I don't know what else to say or do other than make sure these stories are told. Join us for some food and blessing, but also to make sure everyone knows the scope of this terrible failure. NIPSCO and have had PLENTY of time to address this outage. None of the outcomes -- impassable roads, sanitation problems, food and water shortages, medicine spoilage, disabled people trapped in homes they can't leave -- of an extended power outage are new to anyone. We've seen this since . So WTF is going on with all these disaster declarations? What is NIPSCO doing with all the money they're making from us??????? Because obviously it's not providing us with power.

Hey , I asked my dear friend Buffy D Adams to share some thoughts and words of hope and OH DID SHE DO JUST THAT. Just the relief of hearing her calm compassion brought my soul and body a little peace. Listen in. You won't know how desperately you need to hear these words until you do.

So folks I wasn't planning to go here yet, but it's time to stop pretending we're living with the weather of 1982. Whether it's God's will or mankind's choices, our climate has changed. We need to get ready and I think we all know that the Republican supermajority isn't cut out for the job. It's time to vote blue. The Indiana Democratic Party has a full slate of committed and capable candidates ready to handle the challenge of making sure our grid and our state are ready for this new weather future. Vote blue if you care about your community and your family and your future.

I love all the amazing women working to make the kind of place our kids want to call home, but forgive me for fangirling a bit...it's just delightful anytime the amazing Blythe Potter for Indiana stops by. Be sure to check out her feeds to learn about all the devestating weather events unfolding across our state...and the candidates you need to support RIGHT NOW to address it. Because clearly the Republican supermajority here isn't up to the task.

Folks, forgive the shaky camera angles and my son's thumb (my cameraman was a wee bit reluctant and hangry and a little tired of being sweaty and bossed around by his mom 🤣 ). I think it's incredibly important that we get the perspective of people who are on the ground doing things, and I heard the most impactful stories here at Ladybug Laundry. Which makes sense: everybody needs clean clothes! And the folks at Ladybug Laundry were heroic and patient. They're open in Crown Point and ready to help 24 hours a day! 1005 Millenium Dr, Crown Point, IN

Hey , Jessica Bailey for Indiana State Comptroller, is proud of you!! Check out the generator sound in the background: we're all hearing it in our sleep at this point. Good times folks!

Wowza, , I had no idea Vote Kate For State: Kate-Lynn Holley for IN State Senate District 6 survived the '08 floods. There's a reason she's one of the most exciting candidates I've seen in a long time. Thanks so much for sharing your story, Kate, about coming back from that terrible time.

Hey like I promised, here's the tent city at Southlake Mall to house the wonderful human beings here to help restore our power. :) Up next, laundromats because what could be more fun than going with me to to laundry. :)

Hey I'm at Southlake Mall. The powers on and it's a great place to charge and get some AC and some hot food. Up next, I'll show you the tent city that's risen in the parking lot to house emergency linemen here to help!
