Front-desk employees of the Granite City, Illinois, abortion clinic usually field no more than 200 calls a day. But when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the federal right to abortion on that day in June, more than 600 people called the office seeking help.

Johnson & Johnson is pulling baby powder containing talc worldwide next year after it did the same in the U.S. and Canada amid thousands of lawsuits claiming it caused cancer.

J&J insists that the talc baby powder is safe and doesn’t cause cancer. But demand fell, and the product was removed in most of North America in 2020.
