April Bird Photos of the Month

An exciting 30 days of birding for me! Not only did spring migration really begin to ramp up across upstate New York, but I birded for the first time overseas! Starting the month in Portugal was fantastic, and I was able to add 50 species to my life list during my week there. The warmer weather upon my return to New York allowed me to get out a lot more as well, and I finished the month with a total of 162 species.
