Apparently we’re trademarking personalities now. Honestly, I get both sides. If you’ve built a brand around a phrase and put in the work to make it recognizable, it makes sense to protect it. At the same time, it’s wild watching something that feels so common become off-limits for a whole bunch of artists and makers who were probably using it long before the paperwork showed up.
Personally, I’ll stick to making colorful reminders to stay curious, laugh often, get outside, and pay attention to the small things that make life interesting.
And thankfully as it turns out, curiosity, wonder, and a good sense of humor are still free….
