Heroic Leadership: Learn how to rise above crisis, make an impact on your team, customers, and community, and lead with a focus on empathy and growth.

I created the Heroic Leadership course to help business owners and professionals navigate the uncertainty (https://daviddomzalski.com/heroic-leadership).

I enlisted the help of Jeffrey Hayzlett, Sarah Staley, Nathan Hirsch, Adrian Shepherd, Chris Salem, Sean Mulroney, and Michelle Wax to round out an incredible group of talented individuals and inspiring leaders.

The first 100 people who sign up get 25% off. Just use the promo code "GAZETTE".

From Anna Domzalski:

“I want to take a moment a share an Incredible story about my neighborhood to The Links at Gettysburg. The developer came up with an idea of doing 50 social distancing chicken dinners. He offered up to our community the availability to receive a dinner and make a donation of our choosing to our local food bank SCCAP. He said he would match whatever was raised. Well in one hour the neighborhood sold 70 dinners! And raised $5200. With the match, the Links is giving $10,400 to SCCAP on Monday! Imagine all the families one neighbor can bless! I am so thankful to live in such a giving place! Of course, they aren't doing this for publicity but I think they deserve some! So tell your friends and share this story and let's say thanks to this amazing community!”

Happy Monday and Happy Birthday to us! I will never forget all of the emotions going through my head 8 years ago as we were still getting everything ready to open the doors. We definitely weren’t ready to open but we went for it, and after a whirlwind of a night I remember getting home and thinking “what did I get myself and my family into”. We’ve been a constant work in progress since day 1 and will continue to strive everyday to be our best. Huge thank you to my parents for believing in my crazy idea, to our current, and former employees who have been on this ride, to all of our patrons who support us, to all of our vendors who take care of us, to the guy who wrote a letter to the editor in February 2012 hoping we don’t succeed Bc he loved the old place(I haven’t forgotten about you) and to my wife and kids for enduring “restaurant life”. Cheers to many more years! Can’t wait to have a drink with everyone and celebrate when we are allowed to do so! Stay safe and healthy!!

We’re open from 11am to 9pm for carryout food and beer!

How does it work?
Give us a call to purchase a large cheese pizza to be donated in the community and we will match each donated pizza. We’ll be capping this project at 100 pizzas total at this time to keep things manageable.

This means if customers donate 50 pizzas, we will match that with another 50 to be able to spread the love in the community with 100 pizzas total.
.
💛Project Details:
• For simplicity, these will be all cheese pizzas
• Customers can purchase a pizza to be donated by calling 717-334-8966 or 717-334-4721
• After we meet our goal, we will begin making deliveries to first responders and include as many essential employees as possible.
• We will handle all logistics.

Let’s all work together to spread the love and support. 🙏❤️✌️

Hi guys, I'm making hand sanitizer as fast as I can and getting into our local hospitals. We are making this from scratch so it takes some time to make. At this time I'm not quite able to fulfill the hospitals needs fully at this time so I have ordered equipment to modify some our existing equipment to increase our capacity.

My hope is that with modification my plant will be able to fill the needs from the hospitals, get caught up with them, and then start getting this into our local first responders hands. It's been difficult saying no to so many requests the past few days but know that I am doing everything I can to try and get this stuff where it needs to be.

Stay home if you can, practice social isolation, and be kind to each other while we all ride this out. I do not know when this will be over but I do know that I am anxious to see you all again.

Monday we cancelled our normal food orders and replaced them with rice, beans, ground beef, chicken stock, and lettuce which I just got done handing out to my team. They also all got a bottle of whiskey.

I'm used to providing them with an actual paying job but in this situation it is the best I can do.

Www.masondixondistillery.shop is up and running, we can and are shipping out orders everyday. Local residents, I'm working on something even more convenient for you, it's just going to take a couple of days to get set up. And yes, I will be plugging our online store on every post I make for a while.

Biker building a motorcycle for nonprofit organization that helps service members

"This is what us bikers do," explained Gilbert. "It [riding] releases you from all your worries and troubles and invigorates you at the same time."

CONEWAGO TOWNSHIP, ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. -- A motorcycle enthusiast from South Central Pennsylvania is using his love of two wheels to pay it forward. It's safe to say Jamie Gilbert loves motorcycles. Not only does he like talking about bikes and riding them, Gilbert is pretty good at building them.
