The Rescue Dog Project An Art & Advocacy campaign bringing attention to the strain on rescues and shelters all over the nation. Euthanasia isn't the answer. Speak for the voiceless.

We have to get to the core - reckless breeding. Dogs are suffering in overcrowded rescues. Shelters and rescues are over-crowded and dogs are dying, volunteers are drained. Finances are strained and there isn't enough funding to support the employees and trainers needed to home dogs. Dogs are hoarded, abused, neglected and abandoned. Some make it to safety and their basic needs are met, but they r

emain locked up. Rescues care and want to save them all but don't have the support, staff or time to enrich these animals lives to make them more adoptable. So they never learn and many surrenders regress. Too many have anxiety that turns into aggression while waiting for a new home. You can see their spirits shatter. Volunteers see this every day. They will not turn away because they also know the minutes they provide to any rescue dog matters. Volunteer • Foster • Adopt • Donate • ADVOCATE.

Dogs are dying because people refuse to be responsible for their pet! This is a community problem created by the people in your neighborhoods! All over America! Please do not show any support to backyard breeders or puppy mills, and I'll go as far to say your friends and family members who think breeding is a good idea! It's not, I don't care how cute they are going to be!

It starts in our community and we must put the pressure on breeders to stop it in our own communities! It's not right. Period.

Sometimes it is a dog who teaches you more about life than any human ever could. They don't give lectures or offer advice; they simply live—openly, honestly, and without regret. Dogs don't hold grudges, dwell on mistakes, or worry about what tomorrow might bring. Instead, they embrace each moment fully, loving without hesitation and forgiving without conditions.

From them, you learn that loyalty isn't something you have to earn—it's freely given. Patience isn't practiced for reward, but simply because kindness matters. Dogs teach you about joy in the simplest things—a warm patch of sun, a new adventure, the comfort of companionship. Their presence alone speaks louder than words ever could.

In the end, perhaps the greatest lesson a dog can teach you is how to love completely and unapologetically—how to cherish every second, how to move forward without bitterness, and how to leave a lasting mark on someone’s heart without ever saying a single word.

💙BRUNO💙is only 10 months old and surrendered by another uncaring owner for the lame excuse used too may times: “MOVING”. He was surrendered with another 10 month old, female puppy that was already rescued without him on March 20. First abandoned by his owner and then his sibling was rescued.
