Great guesses to our ! This is an apple peeler, invented by David Harvey Goodell in 1864. An inventor and manufacturer, Mr. Goodell later went on to become the governor of New Hampshire in 1888. The apple would be stuck onto the 3 prongs and then the wooden k**b would be turned so the blade could remove the apple peel. The C-Clamp was used to mount it to a countertop, tabletop or butcher block.
