I’m sad to learn that Frank & Lupe’s in Old Town Scottsdale has closed. I always felt so honored to go there with my family and friends and they had my restaurant spotlight article hanging on their wall by the front register. That article was hanging there for well over 10 years!

I will definitely miss this restaurant, although I’m hopeful, they reopen it elsewhere. What an iconic restaurant and a part of Old Town Scottsdale’s history.

When I see something new, I MUST have a tour! This is California’s 1st dispensary and consumption lounge w/full restaurant and store. And WOW, Sessions by the Bay spared no expense on the venue, the immersive art and restaurant development. SWIPE TO SEE THIS ONE-OF-KIND PLACE! Thanks to Juan for the big tour!

Although I’m not one that partakes, I was impressed by what the owners have done with Sessions. SIMPLY STUNNING!

Just dining? The restaurant is gorgeous The menu is thoughtfully upscale without being pretentious. And don’t miss the five insanely artistic bathrooms, you’ll see my fave in the mix… What a great space for the cannabis community!

I’m excited to announce that The Arts Scene Podcast powered by the WISE Scholarship Program has been renewed for a fourth year!

We are moving locations to a beautiful new studio in Mesa, and will continue to drop new episodes every Tuesday that are available on all podcast platforms.

We will continue our multi-award-winning podcast’s track record of interviewing the movers, shakers and decision makers in performing, visual and culinary arts, TV, film and nonprofits.
