Gillett Elementary School was named one of the Best Elementary Schools in Wisconsin 2025 by US News and World Report. To qualify for this honor, a school must score in the top 40% in achievement in Reading and Math. Gillett Elementary was actually in the top 6% in Reading and the top 25% in Math.

This is an honor and a tribute to our excellent staff and the tremendous work they do with our district's children each and every day. We also want to honor our students for all their efforts, as well as our parents for their constant support of their children's education.

Mr. Behnke joined Gillett Elementary for the day on our Grandparents and Special Friends Day, when we invited 300+ visitors to our school.

Today we lay to rest one of our own. Frank Collins retired from Crivitz Rescue just a few years ago due to his health, but was very active as our Ambulance Driver for several years. Frank was a part of our rescue family in every way. He was busy on our schedule and always busy helping with fundraisers and trainings. He went out of his way to get to know everyone. Frank loved a good conversation and often visited the station even after his retirement. He was loved by all our members. He will be missed greatly around here. RIP Frank. We will take it from here....
