Congratulations to Dravyn Vandom, our Athlete of the Month for October. Dravyn is a senior at Campbell County High School, is a member of the Honor Society and has had a 4.0 GPA for three years. Dravyn was named the Player of the Game in the first playoff game against the Laramie Plainsmen as well as scoring his first touchdown for the Camels. Marc is a retired U.S. Army veteran, former radio man, and skydiver with the Army’s elite Golden Knights. In 2012, a jump went wrong — and he lost parts of both legs. But that didn’t stop him.
Now, Marc tells his story through music. This song — created with his direction and heart — is a tribute to his parents. It’s a reflection of where he came from, what he’s endured, and the love that’s carried him through Marc wrote this beautiful song but because he is not a singer he asked AI for some help to see how it would turn out, it turned out amazing.
