This song was on my mind heavy this morning… and the question arose “Do you have this hope?” My answer was, no… so, I prayed to the LORD and he reassured me, even going the extra mile and doing so in his word. I let my past, and things I went through weigh me down for too long and it caused my trust in God to dwindle, and my relationship with him struggled. But, as He said in his word that any that be in him in a new creation (2 cor. 5:17). And that’s the work of the Holy Spirit. So, I’m not holding onto what was lost anymore, and focusing on what is to gain, and TRULY the only one is JESUS CHRIST. You can start anew today, too, by his grace. Only trust in Jesus now. Thank you, Father. Amen.
