So it’s been a rough few days. Yeah, I’d tentatively scheduled some days of live drawing & some gaming and missed those broadcasts
Yesterday was Dad’s birthday. He would’ve been 69 years old.
And it’s just been…an absolutely insane year, honestly (meant more or less literally, for those personally knowin my story)
Anyway, I’d had this idea for awhile, it took some time gettin done, which I figured it might, but now I get to make the announcement—
Dad’s novel, I Remember Tomorrow, is now available for purchase & download exclusively on Apple Books
I found the original manuscript he’d first submitted for printing back in 2007; the substance of it is left unchanged from what he’d initially written, and I didn’t presume to edit it in any way (though I will do a spot-check with one of the physical copies we have just to double-check)
The initial indie-press responsible for the first-edition paperbacks went defunct some years back, and the book was only ever printed on-demand as orders were placed, so his only self-contained complete novel actually hasn’t been accessible
Well that’s changed as of today.
If you’ve got an Apple device, the link below will push you straight to the storefront
It’s a quick read. Succinct. As well as somewhat semi-autobiographical
For now, it’ll be available at a discounted price. My aim with all this is to finish designing a new cover to better match his vision—
—Dad expressed to me personally his dissatisfaction with the publisher’s original cover, describing in more detail his idea for it, so that’s basically what I’ve been trying to work on.
It’s just, for a LOT of reasons, it’s been difficult sitting down to do that
I’ve given myself the deadline of a month, and when the updated cover goes live, the price will go up to $4.99, so if you can, go & claim your copy now!
And no worries, if you want the newer cover, you’ll still get it, you’ll just have to update the book when it’s uploaded to the platform!
