WCLU Radio is “Your Home for Local” for many reasons. Local news. Local sports. Local advertising. Local content. Local people.
WCLU Radio broadcasts live each day on the airwaves of 102.3 and 103.1 FM, as well as 1490 AM. The latter was formerly WKAY-AM. The format was similar, and Henry Royse carried that tradition onward when he purchased the station and put it on the air as WCLU-AM. Since, the station has adopted a Lite Adult Contemporary format on an FM frequency, 102.3. WCLU is also on 103.1 FM via a translator that carries the 1490 AM signal to FM listners.
Good Morning Live! is a morning drive-time show featuring host Henry Royse and news director Brennan Crain. Between the two, live news, sports, announcements, community events, commentary and information is brought to the public each morning, beginning at 6 a.m.
WCLU News prides itself in coverage of breaking and hard news content, as well as feature and human interest content. No idea is too small, and yours could be the next one on the newscast!
