OMG I'm so beside myself right now. I have to make an appointment at the DMV, Social Security and everywhere else.... to change my last name!!!! Oh God, please I'm ready but I'm not ready!
I'm Nancy Jane Dougherty Jr, I am the daughter of Daniel Alan Dougherty and Nancy Jane Dougherty (Adams). Since they adopted me, I have known no other name. Not to mention November my mother and I share the same birthday. How do I change my name.? I have always hyphenated it in my previous marriage. My daughter requested I don't do that and take on my "married name" and I want to take my married name, truly. But that's letting go of the one thing I have with my mother she gave me.
How many days does someone just married have to change their name? Nancy Jane DeGarmo..... I don't care what anyone says, i am going to die with that name and before that happens I am going to live for that name. I am going to wake up every day with a "Good Moring Mrs. D" and I am going to kiss him every night and "Good Night Mr. D" yes sir I am...... every day! No day will go by without him in it, not one
