The purpose of this statement is to publicly and officially announce and confirm that the book Ola Comes of Age (2022), ISBN: 978-1-938598-50-0 published by Goldline and Jacobs Publishing was printed in error and is being recalled by the author and publisher. Goldline and Jacobs Publishing retracts this book, and revokes it as one of its approved publications, as it does not meet the expectations of the author. In good faith, both the publisher and author recognize egregious missteps that led to the publishing of an unproved version of this novel, originally written in 2014 by Dr. Comfort Nwabara as Ola: The Passage of an Igbo Girl, ISBN: 978-978-52738-2-3. As such, this statement aims to protect the author by making this recall and retraction of publishing official and transparent.
