The Town of Glastonbury is seeking intervenor status from the Connecticut Siting Council in regards to a new proposal to construct a solar panel project just over the Glastonbury-Portland town line. Intervener status will allow the town to comment on the project, ask questions of the developer and more regarding its concerns regarding noise and other impacts. The project - which is being proposed by Greenskies Clean Energy - would be located on a farm in Portland just south of Nayaug Elementary School and have an access road onto Old Maids Lane.
