When you think of dedication, community, and heart — you think of Donnie Cody. A proud Johnson County resident since 1972, Donnie has deep roots in the area he loves to serve. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Tarleton State University, Donnie’s foundation is built on hard work, education, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Before stepping into the world of real estate, Donnie and his wife, Trina, spent an incredible 32 years teaching in both Cleburne and Granbury ISD, shaping countless young minds and making a lasting impact in their community. Their love for people and their commitment to service naturally carried over into real estate, where Donnie continues to help families find the perfect place to call home.
As one of the original members of Texas Legacy Realty, Donnie has been with the brokerage since the very beginning. Over the past four years, he’s built a reputation for integrity, knowledge, and unwavering dedication to his clients — specializing in residential and farm and ranch properties across Johnson County and beyond.
Outside of real estate, Donnie remains deeply involved in his church and community activities, always giving back to the same community that has given him so much. Whether it’s in the classroom, the field, or helping someone unlock the door to their dream home, Donnie’s legacy is one of faith, service, and community.
