You are invited to join us for a special storytime at Barnard’s Mill & Art Museum in conjunction with the One Man, Two World’s Exhibit. Special guest, Liz McDaniel will be sharing her gift of storytelling:

Liz McDaniel is from Groesbeck, Texas and lives in close proximity to Old Fort Parker. She retired in 2016 after teaching 34 years in the elementary classroom. Through the years Liz has learned about the history of Limestone County and is familiar with the Cynthia Ann Parker story. She has told stories at Old Fort Parker, Baylor's Mayborn Museum, the Confederate Reunion Grounds in Mexia, and the Waco Mammoth National Monument. She was a tour guide on the Limestone County Historical tour and told stories about the historical sites. Liz is a member of the Heart of Texas Storytelling Guild and loves to tell a good story when asked! She and her husband Dale, have one daughter Sarah, who lives in Houston.
