PRESS RELEASE From Mills County Auditor's Office: NOTICE OF BALLOT DISCREPANCY FOR CITY/SCHOOL ELECTION IN MILLS COUNTY

The Mills County Auditor’s Office wishes to alert voters to a discrepancy identified on the Official Ballot for the upcoming City/School Election to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
On Saturday, November 1, 2025, the Auditor’s Office was made aware of a misprint affecting the Fremont Mills Community School District portion of the ballot. The ballot incorrectly lists Jennifer Wyant as a candidate for Board Member Director, District 5.
Jennifer Wyant is, in fact, a candidate for Board Member Director, District 2.
Due to the timing of this discovery and the proximity to Election Day, there is not sufficient time to reprint or replace the ballots before voting begins on November 4.
Voters in the Fremont Mills Community School District who wish to cast their vote for Jennifer Wyant for Board Member Director, District 2, will need to write in her name on the line provided in the District 2 section of the ballot AND fill in the corresponding bubble.
The Mills County Auditor’s Office appreciates voters’ understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure that every ballot is accurately cast and counted.
For any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact the Mills County Auditor’s Office at (712) 527-3146.
