Showers and thunderstorms return tomorrow afternoon/night!! The threat for strong to severe storms is very low for Sunday but not a zero chance. A storm or two could be strong to severe, especially in the evening into the overnight hours. The severe threat increases for Monday. Exact hazards are not yet identifiable 3 days out, however, all modes of severe weather are possible including tornadoes. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the greater Omaha metro in a slight risk of severe storms. The severe threat continues into Tuesday. There is a Day 4 enhanced risk of severe storms over much of Iowa and the northern half of Missouri. **It is not common for the SPC to have this much confidence this far out** Tuesday has the chance to be a severe weather outbreak. Stay up to date by following Mills County IA Weather and I will update as these events come closer!
