Sometimes you go into a show hoping to find something new. But then, from the very first note, a band grabs you — like they’ve lit a spark just for you. That’s what Luminous Crush did for me at WAMM Fest.
Led by Laura Molinelli and Bay Campbell from Vermont, Luminous Crush has a sound that’s hard to pin down — and that’s exactly what makes them magic. Imagine the warmth of folk and Americana meeting the shimmer of dream pop, with hints of indie and rock woven in. Every song feels like its own little world, filled with color, honesty, and playfulness.
What struck me most was how fun and fearless they are on stage. You can tell they love what they do — the chemistry, the harmonies, the way each member brings their own creative spark. Their music feels alive, spontaneous, and full of heart. It’s not just a performance; it’s an experience that pulls you right into their orbit.
Luminous Crush is easily one of the most vibrant and creative bands I’ve seen in a long time. If you ever get the chance to catch them live, don’t hesitate. They are the kind of band that reminds you why live music is so special.
