Today would have been Angel Noah's Birthday. 🎂❤️🐾🌈😸 I haven't forgotten....

On this day back in 2009, I brought Noah home. I can still remember that day so clearly. 🥲😸❤️🐾

Before Noah, Dad had only ever had dogs. This floof was a huge learning curve, but he taught me well. Noah changed my life forever; all for the better. ❤️

Noah had so many health issues that he faced during his life. I learned so much about kitty health issues that there are many days I felt super qualified to be a well-trained vet tech. 😅

Noah was my soul kitty. He always will be. My heart still hurts not having him right here with me, but I know his Spirit is still very much with me each day. 🌈❤️

I know that Noah sent me Winnie in his place. She sleeps on his favorite perch in the kitty room and it provides me with comfort knowing that somehow they are also connected with each other. 😸🩷🐾😸🌈❤️

Today I simply wanted to make sure Angel Noah knows I have not forgotten. Give your furbaby an extra hug and treat today. Happy Birthday to my boy. Dad loves and misses you. 🌈❤️🐾🎂

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there. Yes, Dad's of furbabies definitely count! 😺🩷🐾🎉

Dad says we all give him a run fur his money every single day, but he loves us SO MUCH and wouldn't have it any other way. We are going to try to minimize the normal shenanigans fur him today. 😹😹🩷🐾

🎂🎉🩷 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARMIE! 🩷🎉🎂

Today we celebrate this beautiful Princess. She officially became part of the family on this day back in 2018. 🩷

Marmie was a stray, abandoned by her former family. She lived outside in her previous neighborhood for a few months before I learned about her. The plan was to find a rescue to take her in, but I fell in love with her. 🥲🩷🐾

She has had a long health journey and was estimated to be around 11 years old when I got her. Today, she is likely around 18 years young. 🩷🐾

Marmie had lost some weight on her most recent vet visit a few weeks ago. Her thyroid numbers were up a bit (likely from eating more of Winnie's food than her own). She has gotten back on track eating her own food and seems to be gaining some weight back. 🙏🩷🐾

Marmie is also now receiving monthly pain injections to help with some arthritis. That seems to be helping her feel a lot better too. 😺🩷

Dad continues to make sure Marmie is living her best life each day. She is a lovebug and is always ready to nap in a warm lap. 🩷🐾💤🥲 She is the sweetest girl and loved so very much.

Happy Throwback Thursday! Angel Noah is still very much with us in Spirit. His memory will continue to live on. ❤️🌈🐾

Noah was the very best at napping. 💤😸❤️🐾He had his favorite spots, but always seemed to enjoy laying on some sofa pillows in the coffee bar.

He will forever be loved and missed. ❤️🐾🌈

Next Monday, June 9th, is Marmie's birthday adoption day. We will do a fun special Marmie Monday post fur everypawdy next week. 🩷🎂😸🥲

We hope everyone is doing well.🩷😸 All is going well here. The weather is heating up in Maryland, but everypawdy is staying cool in the a/c during the day and getting some fresh cooler air in the evenings with the windows open. 🌞🌠🌜

🎂🎉 It's officially my Birthday! 😺🎉🩷👑...

One year ago today, I was adopted and came to live with my furever family. A truly special day, indeed. 😸🩷

In honor of my special day, Dad said I was allowed to wear the Royal Kitty jewelry. 👑😺💎🩷🐾 Marmie has also worn this special piece before. Obviously this is not our everyday attire. 😸

To finish my adoption story from the other day...

Dad had driven almost three hours to pick me up and we drove three hours back home. I was silent the whole car ride and just looked around from the safety of my carrier. Dad told me all about how very special I was and that he would make sure I had the best life. 🩷😸

He has kept his promise. I am his little shadow and love being with him all the time. He helped me gain my confidence and I know he always protects me. 🩷

It was only a matter of a couple days once I was in my new home that I met all of you. You all quickly embraced me and made me feel so loved. Thank you. 🩷🩷🐾

Dad owes so much thanks to all the amazing people at ECMCR fur all they did to ensure that I have the life I do today. They continue to do that same work fur other kitties.

Happy Caterday, furiends! 😺🩷🐾🎉 I'm celebrating my special day tomorrow and ALL weekend! 😸🎂

I wanted to share with you a picture of me on the day Dad first met me and compare that with today. 😸

When Dad first met me, I was so scared of new people that I was hiding. But Dad sat down on the floor and waited fur me to feel comfortable enough to come out. 🐾🩷

Dad even brought me tuna treat pouches and was feeding those to me while I figured him out. After about five or ten minutes, I was climbing on him and playing. 😸🩷🐾🐟

Today I am always climbing on the table and exploring. He always says, "Winnie, you're not supposed to be on the table". But it's my house and my rules now. 😹😹🩷

I want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Sharon Justofin, Buddybear and Sami fur my beautiful handmade birthday card! The amount of detail and love that gets put into every card is amazing. 🩷🩷🐾

It's ALMOST my first birthday (adoption day)!! 🎉😺🧁🐟 We would like to raise some money fur my rescue East Coast Maine C**n Rescue (ECMCR) to celebrate. 🩷😸

🐾🩷 ABOUT ECMCR & MY STORY:

Last year, Dad adopted me on May 18th from ECMCR. This rescue organization is incredible. They are a non-profit organization that pulls kitties from shelters, gets them all the vet care they need, yummy food and gives them lots of love while they help find us new homes.

Last year, I was one of those very fortunate kitties. I was pulled from a shelter where I was so stressed out and scared that I got a huge gash on my back from one of the shelter cages.😿

ECMCR pulled me from that shelter, got me vet care and my foster took me in. She helped mend my gash with special cream every day, fed me, played with me, and helped me feel safe around people. 🩷🐾

A couple weeks later, when they knew I was ready fur adoption, listed me. Dad knew I belonged with him, so he reached out to meet me, hoping to adopt me. 😺

Dad came to meet me and instantly fell in love with me. I connected quickly with him, even though I was nervous around people... 😸🩷😻

I know it's been a little while since we've been on here, but today is a very special day, so we wanted to make sure we stopped by. 😸🩷💐

How is everypawdy doing? What are your plans fur the day?

We are doing well. Always busy. Spring and summertime means more time fur Dad working outside in the gardens and me watching from the window inside. I love that my only chore is supervising. 😹🩷🐾🌞🐦😸

Next Sunday Funday, the 18th, will be my first birthday adoption day! Dad says I will be extra spoiled on my birthday. 😺🧁🎉🎂🐾 We will also be trying to help raise some money fur my rescue organization in the next few days to honor my special day.

Marmie, Briggs and Riley are all doing well. They all are still doing their favorite things each day. 🩷💤🐾😹💤💤💤

We also want to say THANK YOU fur staying with us even though we aren't here all the time. We do miss everypawdy very much! 🩷😸🐾

Happy Easter from Briggs & Riley! They went on their Annual Egg Hunt. At 12.5 years young, these two ran around so excited to find all the eggs. 🐰🐾❤️💐 They even wore their Easter collars and bow ties, so they looked extra festive and handsome. 🐾❤️

It is my first Easter and the Easter Bunny brought me my very own basket! 😺🐰🩷🐾 Marmie, Briggs and Riley got their own baskets too.

Marmie and I got new collars fur summertime. We also got some treats too. This bunny showed up! 🐰😸🩷🐾

Briggs and Riley have an egg hunt later this morning, so Dad is getting ready fur that. We will get some pictures of them and try to post those later today. 😸🐾

Happy Fri-YAY, dear furiends! 🎉🩷😺...

What have we been up to on this Fri-YAY morning? Much the same as most days. I'm into my normal mischief (pretending like I'm not going to knock the eggs out of the Easter table display, but I have four times already this morning). 😹 Then I start pulling the paper grass out (no plastic grass). 💐🌷🪻

Marmie has found that she now prefers the large cozy orthopedic dog bed Dad bought fur Briggs and Riley. She spends much of her day napping in that. 😸💤🩷 Marmie is doing well. She has some off days here and there, but Dad is able to get her back on track with some medicine pretty quickly. 🩷🐾

Briggs and Riley are doing well. They are loving the nicer and warmer weather we have been getting. Much more outside time to enjoy. 🌞🐾

Next week we have another family trip to the vet fur all of us for various check-ups, vaccines, bloodwork and nail trims. It's my first annual checkup, but Dad says that I'm such a good girl at the vet, he knows I'll do great. 🩷

I hope all of you are doing well and that your weekend ahead brings you some joy. We try to find little ways to improve our community and world every day. There are so many ways to help. It all adds up. 🐾🩷💐🌷🪻

Yes, Marmie is beyond adorable. 😅🥲🩷😸

Marmie was hungry and decided to tell me in her own way. Fear not. Marmie had food options out and available. She always does. She must have forgotten. 😅 I placed her back in front of her food and she started eating. Problem solved. 😅😸🩷🐾

Marmie Health Update: We did a vet visit last week for some blood work and because she had been having a rough week. As it turns out, she had gained another 3oz in the last month. That was excellent news.🎉

However, her thyroid was slightly elevated (she has been sneaking some of Winnie's food despite the hoops Dad goes through to prevent this). Our vet thinks she was having an IBD flare up causing the other symptomatic issues.

Thankfully, we always have common pet meds on-hand for the various issues that may arise with each furbaby. Cerenia is one of them. I was able to help get her tummy GI issues back under control within a couple days. 🩷🐾😸🙏

Marmie still continues to live her best life every day. Napping in one of her warming beds is still her favorite activity. 😸💤 She is so loved. 🩷🩷🥲
