These stairs are finally starting to look the part 👀

Getting the stair rail installed on the historic rebuild, and the Tru-Scapes wedge lights really set these 6x6 posts off.

A lot of little details coming together now. We’re getting very close to wrapping this one up.

Stay tuned, you’re going to want to see the finished project 👊

🔊 That sweet sound of the last board going in.

We saved this square-edge picture-frame board for last for a reason. Leaving it open gave us room to route the low-voltage wiring, get everything connected, and test the Truescapes lighting before closing it all up.

Now the lights are dialed in, the railing is next, and it’s time to lock this board down. Cortex screws + color-matched plugs = clean finish and no shortcuts.

One last board, lighting tested, and we’re ready for railing. 🔥

Well… it went. 😂

This PVC line is actually part of the fully enclosed underdeck drainage system on this build. Instead of leaving the pipe exposed, we’re using 3/4” PVC to build a custom column-style wrap around it, matching the look of our steel support posts that are wrapped the same way.

Just because something has a job to do doesn’t mean it has to look like plumbing.

Little details like this are what help turn all the mechanical parts of a build into one clean, finished system.

Bad day? Not today. 😂

Had remove a sticker from the laptop and replace it with the holographic DeckVanGogh 🙌

Love it or hate it?

A lot of wiring has to disappear inside a pretty small space on this one.

We’re wrapping our steel support posts in PVC columns, while also getting all of the wiring in place for the Tru-Scapes lighting. Heat-shrink connections have been a huge help here. They give us a clean, protected connection without taking up a bunch of room inside the column.

It’s one of those little details nobody will ever see once the project is finished, but doing it right now is what makes everything work the way it should later.

This historic rebuild is finally starting to come together, one wire, one column, and one light at a time. 🤘
