This week we recognize National Police Week. The men and women of the Goffstown Police Department are here 24/7 to protect the community of Goffstown. Each Officer upholds the duty, responsibility, and integrity required when they set out each day into the community. Every Officer believes and adheres to the mission of our agency with great pride and dedication. Thank you to all officers throughout the nation who continue to answer the call for public service. This week, we also pay tribute to the men and women in Law Enforcement who paid the ultimate sacrifice. We ask that you take a moment to honor the fallen officers not only in New Hampshire but throughout our country.

We would like to thank everyone that participated in the National Drug Takeback Day on April 30. This event resulted in 219.6 pounds of prescription medications being turned in for destruction!
Too often these prescriptions can end up in the wrong hands resulting in dangerous, and sometimes tragic events.
If you missed the event and would like to know how to dispose of your prescription medications, here's a great resource:

Hello whoever lives on 11 Elm St.. can you return the package that UPS delivered today to you at 10:18am this morning. It was delivered to a male resident. This was a wedding gift for a friend and it’s pretty sh*tty that you accepted a package for someone else and didn’t contact ups or bring it to our house which is only 8 mins away !!
Good Afternoon. This is Pastor Joe Johnsick over at Goffstown Harvest Christian Church.

I know the Corona pandemic has upset our lives from every conceivable angle it seems. We are being forced to adjust, be "put out", and maybe face emotions and inconveniences we haven't had to before.

Well, the good news is we will make it through this like every other generation before us has made it through their "trials".

A couple weeks ago in response to this crisis, I started a video series called "Faith Food". Four to six minutes(ish) of quick "in and out" lessons and observations to help our folks navigate through this. I'm convinced that these things will help most folks...church goer or "church run away frommer."

A ships best friend in the middle of a storm may very well be her anchor. Well, in the same way, if we have things we can focus and fix our random, at times uncontrollable and terrifying thoughts upon, this can be very valuable getting us not just through Covid, but the next "crisis" that fills the airways.

I trust these will help. I share them on our churches website and when they go up I'll be sure to share.

This video is called "Bird Legs". I talk about how easy it is to get out of balance in certain areas of our lives. Especially in these times, we certainly need to be running on all cylinders...not out of sync. Enjoy!

Be safe:
