Most of my experience with reading manifestos (and, in particular, poetic manifestos) has been akin to eating a large multivitamin: best case scenario, I question if it's actually doing me any good; worst case scenario, I actually choke on the thing on the way down.

However, my expectations have now changed.

This piece is not brand new, but my arrival to it is. In The Logoclasody Manifesto, Gregory Vincent St Thomasino has managed to create a work of beauty, resonance, relevance, and--miraculously--utility. You can learn some ancient Greek and impress your friends. It even has some Van Gogh in there. Every artist needs a little Van Gogh now and then for perspective.

Read it, then go write something the world would have been lesser without.
