Turkeys came to visit this morning 🤠🦃

Got up early this morning so we could take a drive and check on the property today.
It was snowing when we left home, and we got up here to cloudy blue skies and frigid temperatures!

Not here to do a whole lot, but we did have a couple trees come down in the entry way so Kyle is moving them out of the way. But that’s it until next time!

This was about a month ago when we were working on pulling a stump out.
This machine has been put to work in the last few months with minimal maintenance so something was bound to happen.
The track came off and we phoned a few friends that also have equipment. They were so amazing and walked us through step by step how to get it back on.
Crow bar, ratchet strap, grease gun with grease and a quick trip to town we were back up and running within a couple hours.
Now that we know how to do this I feel we could get it done in 30 minutes.
Things like this make us realize how good of a team we are working together 🤠
Little shout out to Sarah our lovely 4 legged daughter 🫶🏻

We sure do have some beautiful wildlife at the property! I get excited every time I see them. 🤠

Little Throwback

This was the MASSIVE slash pile that was burned. We pulled a ton of good firewood out of this pile. Thankfully the neighbor had a log splitter. We were able to cut many rounds, split and stack it. The wood was already pretty seasoned from sitting in the pile so it got hauled home and is what’s heating our house today!

This day we had started on the entry boulder wall. Can’t wait for it to thaw out up there so we can get back to work!

One for the first pictures taken at the property! We had these two beautiful bucks following us around. At the time we were amazed cause that never happens at home. But now we are kinda used to it! We get multiple visitors every day. One of the things we love the most about the property is watching the deer and turkeys.
