This is by Pyrex. There’s a lot going on with this mug! It’s got a cool design in three places.

I have a weird fascination with antique penny farthing bicycles. They are just so fascinating to me! I think it’s the whimsy and absolutely ridiculous appearance of them that I love so much.

So, to see one on a vintage Pyrex mug for the first time a while back…made my day 😄

Pyrex “Trailing Flowers” Bake n Carry 🧡 This is one of my favorite fall patterns. This was released in 1980.

The awesome, but also not so great thing about some of the Pyrex promotionals…are the accessories that came with some of the pieces. Many times, they are often lost. Underplates, bake n carry covers, utensils, chip n dip brackets, etc. If you can find the dish and the accessory together, it’s a lucky day. Otherwise, trying to find them is a pain.

We are lucky to have this complete set. Be on the lookout for that snap closure cover that goes with this set! I have included a photo of the label inside. I love the sweet country kitchen feel of that patterned cover piece…and it keeps your casserole full of home cooked food snug as a bug for transport!

I know this isn’t going to apply to everyone here, but I decided to post this helpful video for local folks and those in the ENC region who follow us. I’ve had an uptick in phone calls inquiring about our space. A good thing! Many people have had no problem finding us. We have had visitors from here to the beach and all over ENC already who have had no issues. Some folks have had a little bit of a hard time though.

This explains a bit how to get to where our booth is located. I promise it’s really easy to get to and find. There is signage out front. Look for the pretty antique house with the beautiful white columns catty corner across from Crawford Furniture.

An additional note: there’s a driveway access to the rear of the building right next to the Med Spa. It’s between the Med Spa porch (off to the right as you’re facing the med spa) and Jonathan Greeson Financial Planning next door. That might be a little easier than driving all the way around. I use that way a lot to cut through to the back when I drive our smaller vehicle.

However, I will tell you: depending on what vehicle you’re driving, it might be a little tight if you drive a huge vehicle. ALSO, leaving through that way coming from the back can be a challenge trying to pull out of there. It’s 20 mph through there, but many people do a minimum of 40 through that way. You really have to watch closely and kinda floor it to get out. I don’t ever use that porch adjacent driveway to leave the med spa.

Lastly, a safety note about the video recording: there’s no distractions whatsoever as the recording device is located inside my glasses 🙂 I don’t see anything through them, but the road ahead. Just wanted to throw that in there.

A little Pyrex in action today! 🩵

The weather early this morning was BEAUTIFUL! It was a nice little break from 100 degrees and full humidity here in NC.

I took advantage of the cooler temps and spent an hour and a half picking berries. It’s getting to where they are turning faster than I can pick them…so I’m making more effort to spend more time trying to pick a ton.

Also just waking up early in the morning and being “ugly” at home, in peace, in my crocs, in my yard is one of my favorite things ever 😂

Both pieces pictured are Pyrex. The light blue bowl with handles is a Pyrex Family Flair bowl…and can be a little harder to find.

I’m a little late to the party today with posting. I will tell you, from a little experience now…if you are a newer creator account, smaller account, etc…you gotta post everyday. Even if you don’t feel like it. It’s crucial if you want to grow and keep your page “healthy.” That’s how it works…you truly have to put in the effort.

Shall I be honest? I really don’t feel like it today 😂 So, I’m getting ready to catch up for the day.

I’ve also got a lot going on in the background. Nothing bad, just a LOT.
