SO MUCH FUN getting book reviews...
Way to go Silverlight Press and John O'Reilly
Good Night Cookies is a delightful tale about a scamp of a puppy, her feline buddy, and a loving family. This true story models the best of all bedtime routines… hearing a great story, having someone to snuggle with and getting a treat!
Gracie wins our hearts as she recounts her favorite memory. John O’Reilly, the author, captivates us with a masterful retelling of Gracie’s midnight adventures. Daryn Rowley, the illustrator, creates beautifully executed prints that bring Gracie’s story to life visually.
The information provided regarding the Reading Assistance Dog Program ( READ) is a perfect reminder that reading can be done by a child to a loving pet not only for the joy of companionship, but also for the improvement in oral reading skills. As the mantra for school reading states…’Good Readers Reread’. A pet, whether living or stuffed, is a safe listener and a constant encouragement to the child to just sound out that word and there is no rush. It’s great confidence building with a devoted listener…a loving pet!
This children’s book combines all the best reminders for a reader…enjoy the story; share the reading adventure with a loving pet and it’s ok to have a small snack before bed!!!

Yet another great story coming up...a highly-touching, revealing memoir.

It is the list of support and prayer partners who deserve all the credit for the mission in Tel Aviv—I was merely the instrument of God’s plans to achieve His purpose in reassuring them He is the God of His beloved people. He loves them, supports them, and wants to help them. He did it by sending me and other volunteers whom I will discuss in future chapters.

Your review will inspire readers to take an inspiring journey with L. Todd Kelly, a veteran Marine and successful lawyer, as he shares his remarkable story in "Worth Dying For." In this gripping memoir, Kelly delves into the highs and lows of his career, revealing how the pursuit of success nearly cost him everything until he found redemption through faith.

I love the creativity of some writers...just had to share this little message from a connection I have in my publishing,,,with me thinking he was outlining an awesome children's book...only to discover the story was directed more specifically to adults!

You won't believe the story I'm about to tell you. It's a tale of daring, ingenuity, and eight tentacles. 🐙 Meet Inky, the octopus who pulled off the most impressive jailbreak since, well, ever!

So, picture this: Inky was just chilling in his tank at the National Aquarium of New Zealand, probably dreaming of the open sea. 🌊 But then, one night, he decided he'd had enough of captivity. It was time to make a break for it!

Now, octopuses are known for being clever little escape artists, but Inky took it to a whole new level. 🎓 He spotted a small gap in the top of his enclosure and thought, "Bingo! That's my ticket out of here!" 🎟️

So, he squeezed his squishy, boneless body through the tiny opening and made a mad dash for freedom. 🏃💨 The aquarium staff later found a trail of water leading from Inky's tank to a drainpipe 15 centimeters in diameter. That's right, this crafty cephalopod managed to squeeze himself through a pipe narrower than a slice of pizza! 🍕

And here's the kicker: that drainpipe led straight to the ocean! 🌊 Inky had planned his escape route perfectly. He didn't just break out of his tank; he broke out of the entire aquarium and into the vast expanse of the Pacific. Talk about a daring escape! 🎉

Now, I know what you're thinking: "But Paulo, how do we know Inky made it to the ocean? Maybe he's just hiding out in the aquarium's plumbing, plotting his next move!" 🤔 Well, my friend, I choose to believe that Inky is out there right now, swimming free and living his best octopus life. 😎

So, the next time you feel trapped in a metaphorical tank, remember Inky's story. If a squishy, slimy, eight-armed sea creature can break free and chase his dreams, then so can you! 💪

Yours in cephalopod solidaity,
Paulo Gro🐙

Revisiting a previouso Beyond the Game Film project, where I got to interview Dick Vitale for a magazine article... the question was, "Why Mr. March Madness?" and my greatest takeaway was, "Because Dick Vitale exemplifies everything college basketball! It is appropriate to use this opportunity to look at the legendary college basketball figure and humanitarian."

So with today being that last big game of the season, let's honor him once again!
