If you could only keep one Goku figure in your entire collection, which one would it be? For me, it is easily the new S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku (The Games Begin) edition.
Bandai completely crushed it with this release, debuting a brand-new 4.0 body structure that completely redefines budget-tier figures. The engineering updates are a massive win for both casual collectors and toy photographers.
The standout feature is the patent-pending Dynamic Movable Shoulder System, which allows the arms to slide forward organically for a perfect, gap-free Kamehameha pose. Combine that with a massive ab-crunch range, a sleeker aesthetic knee design, and a new boot-cut swivel for wide battle stances, and you have arguably the best posing Goku on the market.
At a standard retail price point of around 38 dollars, getting this level of articulation along with three alternate faces and four pairs of hands is an absolute steal.
Check out the full breakdown in my latest video to see all the articulation upgrades in action.
Which Goku figure holds the number one spot on your shelf? Let me know in the comments.
