THE ACADEMY OF FILM TELEVISION STAGE AND PERFORMING ARTS, INC.

Our school teaches the basic methods taught by legendary acting teacher, Sanford Meisner. Founder of The Neighborhood Playhouse in Manhattan, David Wilson, our instructor, worked with the "Master" as a student and performer, logging more than 1000 hours under his tutelage and guidance. In these classes, Meisner's teachings are brought into 21st-century focus by Mr. Wilson. A 'Master Actor' himself, as well as Writer, Producer, Director, Singer/Songwriter, his purpose for offering these classes is to provide his extraordinary insight into the use of the 'best and safest tools' of the craft. It looks like this is really happening! 🌈🤩👍😎🎬

Apparently, we are currently in discussions with none-other-than the one and ONLY, two-time ‘Oscar’ winner, Sir Phillip Anthony Hopkinsto s, about appearing in our upcoming production, “The Big Ride.” Below is a pic from “Audrey Rose”(1977), when I last worked with ‘Sir Tony!’ He saved my job and probably my career at that point. Who knows? It could happen, again! (Pictured [left to right], Marsha Mason, John Beck, Richard Lawson and Me [David Patrick Wilson]) 🤩

As it turns out, in 2022 we won the New York Cinema Award for ‘Best TV Series - Web - Pilot for this 13 min. Short! Who knew?! Nobody told us we were even in this fest!!! We’re still looking for a production/distribution partner on this baby! 🤪🙏🤩👍😎
