Some things are bigger than football. 🇺🇸

WEST POINT – Saturday’s game at Michie Stadium ended in disappointment for Army on the field, but the afternoon also included a reminder that some moments are bigger than the final score.

With the game being played just days after the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, West Point paused to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day. A moment of silence was observed at Michie Stadium, while members of the Army Football coaching staff wore commemorative apparel honoring the victims.

At a place whose mission and history are so closely connected to service and sacrifice, the tribute carried a special significance.

Whatever the result on the scoreboard, it was a moment worth recognizing.

🇺🇸 Never Forget.
