Graceville’s Hometown Supermarket for over 34 years

Back in 1984, our father George Leuenberger saw an opportunity to get himself back in business in Graceville, for the 3rd time. Back in the early 60’s he managed a Benson wholesale of Geneva, AL company owned Piggly Wiggly store. He was also partner in the the old IGA store back in the early 70’s. I guess sometimes things in life make a full circle, as he secured a lease of the current location after a small fire forced the Fleming owned Piggly Wiggly to change locations, and the cotton street location suddenly became available. Having had so much experience in Graceville, George knew that this was the “location” to be in , in Graceville. George eventually retired, and now his two sons Tommy and Charlie continue to manage the business together. “We have always tried to upgrade our facilities whenever possible, to keep our business as current as we can” said Tommy Leuenberger.
