I recently had the absolute honor of taking Victoria’s maternity photos. Last week, we shared her beautiful Riverside session right on the Grafton, IL riverfront, and as promised, today I am so excited to share the images from her fire station session!

Victoria is one of our very own local, true-blue heroes. I’ve known this girl since she was in the youth program at Fieldon Baptist Church, so seeing the amazing woman and helper she has become fills my heart with so much pride for her.

A massive, heartfelt thank you to Victoria and her fiancé, Austin, for everything they do for our community through our QEM Fire Protection District. 🚒🔥You both are real-life heroes, and celebrating this next chapter of your lives together has been an honor. 🥰

Real heroes wear turnout gear, but sometimes, they also wear stunning gowns on the Grafton riverfront. ✨

We talk a lot about the spirit of Grafton, IL, but no one embodies it quite like Victoria. As dedicated firefighters with our very own QEM Fire Protection District both Victoria and her fiancé Austin literally rush toward the flames to keep our community safe. Recently, the tables have turned, and we get to celebrate them and the beautiful new life they are bringing into the world.

This breathtaking session marks Victoria’s second child, but incredibly, it’s her very first time ever having professional photos taken. To say it is an honor to capture these memories for a woman who gives so much of herself to all of us is an understatement. This was just a small way give back and bless this family in love.

Victoria, you are absolutely glowing, and the riverfront has never looked more beautiful.😍

And the best part is there's even more fire where this came from! Including a whole QEM fire truck maternity session (Part 2) heading your way later this weekend, so stay tuned. 🚒🥰🔥

There are some days that stay with you long after the sun goes down. This was one of those days.

We headed out to Hanneken Farms for a particularly special session. There’s something about the green glow of a John Deere and the quiet of the pasture that speaks a language only a farmer truly understands. It wasn’t just about the photos... it was about the stories and memories etched in the soil and the legacy of a man who built a life, and a family, from it.

This was a good day. Actually, it was a beautiful day. 🚜✨

🤼‍♀️What an experience traveling to the IKWF (Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation) State Championship in Peoria this past weekend with the Bulls Wrestling Club.

Watching my daughter make it all the way to the state floor in only her second year of wrestling was a massive milestone. It’s a tough sport, and seeing that level of dedication pay off is why I love what I do.

They didn't allow floor access for photographers, but thanks to the 600mm lens, I was able to capture some of the action and few of the emotions of the matches right from the stadium seats.

🤼‍♂️ Mat side at the Jersey Panther Pummel!
Spent my weekend at JCHS capturing the heart and soul of these young wrestlers, and let me tell ya... what a ride!

As the season starts to wind down, these moments just feel a little bigger. I saw it all this weekend... the joy of the win, the heavy moments of defeat, and that incredible grit it takes just to step out on that mat. I’m proud of every single one of these kids for the way they keep pushing to be better.

The absolute highlight for me? Watching the little tots do their thing! It had me smiling from ear to ear the whole time. 🥹✨
