Well folks, that's a wrap on the 8th-grade football and cheer season at Jersey Community Middle School. It's always a little bittersweet when things come to an end, but what an incredible season it's been! We are all so incredibly proud of these amazing kids – the hard work, the teamwork, the spirit... they poured their hearts into it all.

We're so lucky to live in a community that rallies around our children, cheering them on every step of the way. These young athletes and cheerleaders have bright futures ahead, and we can't wait to see all the great things they'll do.

Finally got the 7th Grade Team photos ready from Saturday's JCMS Panthers vs. EAWR Oilers game! Check'em out! Working on the 8th Grade Team later tonight. These kids are something special, aren't they? ❤️
Seriously though, these little humans... they test our patience on a daily basis, but seeing them shine like this makes all the crazy worth it a million times over! 😉

It's always a pleasure capturing my daughter's activities, but it's an added blessing to photograph the entire team for their family and friends.

Hometown heroes! 🎉 What an incredible welcome home for our JCMS wrestlers who competed at State this weekend! We're bursting with pride for Grayson Mangara, our school record setter, who brought home THIRD PLACE, and Bo Allison, who earned FIFTH PLACE! 🏆 And a huge congratulations to the entire JCMS wrestling team for an amazing season!

JCMS All-State Wrestlers:
Grayson Mangara - 3rd Place - 119 lbs
Bo Allison - 5th Place - 95 lbs

2025 Season milestones:
🏅 Regional Team Champs
🏅 24 Sectional Qualifiers
🏅 6 State Qualifiers

JCMS wrestling is bringing home the hardware! Join us at noon today as we welcome our Jersey Community Unit School District No. 100 JCMS State wrestlers back with a police and firetruck es**rt through town to the high school. We are beyond proud of Bo for his 5th place finish and Grayson for making school history with his 3rd place victory! They poured their hearts out on the mat and represented JCMS wonderfully. Let's show them our support!

This season was filled with soaring victories and tough losses that build character. We witnessed amazing highs and crushing defeats, and through it all, our panthers persevered.

Yes, I took over 130+ photos of my daughter's sectional match. I am THAT mom. 😂
While she didn't come away with the win, she wrestled with a level of skill and determination I hadn't seen all season. She was setting up moves, executing them flawlessly, and truly listening to her coach. She was scoring points left and right, dominating the match. Three long, grueling rounds, and she was leading 11-7 with less than 60 seconds left.
Unfortunately, she got caught in a pin at the end, but that match was hers to win. When she stepped off the mat, I was a mess of happy tears, so incredibly proud of her effort. She couldn't understand why I was happy when she lost, but I was just so damn proud!
I took a million photos, so feel free to scroll through and see for yourself. (And in true mom fashion, I'm convinced she almost had the pin! 😊) Seeing her wrestle with such intention and heart was the biggest win of all.
My hands were shaking and I was cheering between photos, so this isn't my best work, but I promise that she is 😉
