🌐 kevincgmusic.com

I am a full-time contemporary a cappella producer, arranger, engineer, and educator, along with being a singer-songwriter and the bass singer for the award-winning professional R&B/Soul/Pop group, Ball in the House (www.ballinthehouse.com). I'm also an official voting member of The Recording Academy (Class of 2023) -- I participate in the voting process of THE GRAMMYs® (www.recordingacademy.com).

I started my music career by receiving a Bachelor of Music in Combination with an Outside Field in Media Communication (B.M.) from the Ithaca College School of Music. At Ithaca, I had the distinct pleasure of being a four-year member in the award-winning a cappella group, Ithacappella. Based just outside of Boston, MA, I have given numerous workshops and master classes all around the continental United States. My work in the recording business has won and been nominated for multiple Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA), along with appearing on several prestigious compilation albums, such as SING, Best of College A Cappella (BOCA), and Voices Only. As an arranger and performer, I have also gained regional and national recognition at the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival. Outside of time with Ball in the House, I am a Substitute Teacher/Paraprofessional Educator in the Westborough Public Schools (Westborough, MA, U.S.A.), a Virtual Coach for the A Cappella Education Association, and a Delegate Officer of the Ithacappella Alumni Association.

Outside of music, I enjoy reading mystery/suspenseful, thriller books, taking trips to Old Orchard Beach, ME, U.S.A, playing Nintendo Switch and a variety of board/deck building games, refining my Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game skills, and spending time with my wife and 1 year old son.

2025 Reflection 🎶✨

I’m still sitting with this…

This year, my music placed me in the Top 25% of streamed songwriters and producers, reaching 1.9 million streams across 71 credits. These numbers represent 16 years of learning, growing, and showing up for the craft.

I didn’t start here.

I started as a background singer.
Then sang lead here and there.
Then learned arranging and engineering.
Then producing.
And eventually found the courage to write and release my own music.

What makes this moment special isn’t just the stats. It’s the journey behind them. The slow build. The behind-the-scenes work. The seasons where growth wasn’t visible yet, but was still happening.

2025 was a year of trusting my instincts, honoring my voice, choosing intention over noise, and believing that if I stayed consistent, the work would speak when it was ready.

I’m incredibly grateful: to collaborators, listeners, mentors, and everyone who’s been part of this path. This chapter feels less like an ending and more like a clear signal that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

Onward. ❤️🎶✨

✨ Give the same passion and attention to detail you give your loud dynamics, to your soft, quiet dynamics ✨

That’s how you create contrast, and the delivery will be that more impactful when you arrive to those big moments in your music 🎶

The Swingles and Club For Five are professional ****la groups I admire deeply ✨❤️🙏🏼 Both group’s have such a rich history, and have incredible musicality, each in their own right 🥰🎶

I had to honor both group’s superb musical making, respectively, in this a ca****la arrangement of Coldplay’s “Everglow” I wrote with Angus W. Finlay, when we sang together in Sound Off.
