Si algo no te cuadra, escríbeme “REVISA MI TRATO.”

Tu historia importa.

Did you go in to claim a prize… and somehow leave with a car? 👀

This has happened to more consumers than you might think.

Today we’re looking at a real automotive marketing practice documented in Federal Trade Commission case records.

If this happened to you, I want to hear your story.

And if you still have questions about the vehicle deal you signed, message me “CHECK MY DEAL.”

YOU WON $5,000!

That’s what the mailer made them believe.

According to Federal Trade Commission case records, consumers received auto sale mailers claiming they had won prizes worth $2,500 or $5,000 in cash.

When consumers arrived to claim the advertised prize, they discovered they had not won it.

This isn’t a rumor.

It’s based on an actual FTC case.

At Everyone Drives, we’re researching documented cases like this because consumers deserve to know what has happened in the auto industry and what to look for when something doesn’t feel right.

Recently bought a vehicle and have questions about your deal?

They told you the monthly payment.
But did they explain what the vehicle will actually cost you?

If you recently bought a car and you’re not 100% sure what you signed, let’s look at the numbers together.

You got the keys. ✅

But do you really know what you signed?

APR. Loan term. GAP. Warranty. Add-ons.

Your monthly payment doesn’t tell the whole story.

If you recently bought a vehicle and want to better understand your deal, message me:

I’ll tell you where to start.

They said you could refinance in 6 months… but that doesn’t make it a guarantee.

A future refinance usually requires a new lender approval, and factors like your credit, payment history, income, debt, vehicle value and lender requirements can all matter.

Before counting on a dramatically lower payment later, understand the conditions first.

Do you know the APR on your car loan?

A lot of buyers focus only on the monthly payment.

But your APR is another number you should understand.

Your interest rate is the cost of borrowing money. Your APR can include that interest rate plus certain fees associated with the loan, so the two numbers may not always be the same.

If you recently bought a vehicle, find the APR on your paperwork and make sure you know what it means.

Your payment matters. Your APR does too.

The sticker price and the amount financed are not always the same.

That difference can come from several parts of the deal, such as taxes, fees, add-ons, negative equity, or how the purchase was structured.

That’s why looking only at the price of the vehicle is not enough.
If you recently bought a car, take the time to understand what was actually included in your deal.

These are common examples not every contract includes all of them.

Did you know the difference between sticker price and amount financed before buying your last vehicle?

Have you heard that you automatically have 3 days to return a car after you buy it?

That’s a common misconception.

Federal law does not require car dealers to give buyers three days to cancel a vehicle purchase and return the car.

But every situation can be different. State law, your contract, and a dealer’s own return or cancellation policy may matter.

Before assuming you can return the vehicle or assuming you have no options understand what you signed.
