📢 Local Food Support in Granbury during the SNAP benefit crisis
Hey Granbury & Hood County friends — with the recent disruption of SNAP benefits due to the federal shutdown, more families and neighbors than ever may be feeling the pinch. You’re not alone, and there are local resources ready to help. 🙏
🔹 What you should know:
• If you’re experiencing reduced or delayed benefits, please don’t hesitate to access food pantries. They are here for you.
• If you have the capacity, please consider donating food, funds or time to support these organizations so they can rise to the moment.
🔹 Some trusted local food-pantries:
• Mission Granbury — 3611 Plaza East Court, Granbury, TX 76049. Weekly drive-thru food pantry: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9 am-3 pm; Wednesdays 2-5 pm. 
• People Helping People (Hood County) — 306 Kings Plaza, Granbury, TX 76049. Pantry open Mon/Wed/Fri 10 am-2 pm. 
• Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry at Lakeside Baptist Church Outreach Center — 500 W Bluebonnet Dr., Granbury, TX 76048. Open Tuesdays & Thursdays 1-3 pm, and 2nd Saturday 9-11 am.

• If you need food: Bring photo ID, maybe proof of residence if required (each pantry differs) and visit during open hours.
• If you can give: Donate non-perishable food, funds, or your volunteer time. These organizations are relying on community support.
